The Yoga Journey

The path of yoga appeared 25 years ago, and I began my journey home.  Teachers appeared and like angels - stayed beside me when it was toughest.  Desiree Rumbaugh, Rod Stryker and Sunny Sharma - are light beams on this path, as constant and warm as the sun.

Students appeared and kinships were formed.  Light shines in, and it shines through.  Paths cross, merge, run congruent - lit by that same perpetual light.

Healing, transformation, transcendence - all are possible and natural, body, mind and soul.  Ananda - bliss - is a natural recognition of the soul.

We come for the exercise.  It's fun, it feels great, it's interesting.  We stay - for the peace, the light, the path itself as it unfolds and weaves through our lives.  Namaste'.
I have been teaching yoga now for over 10 years.  After a year-long training and receiving my certification, I opened a studio in our community.  Since then, I have taught yoga with horses, yoga with dogs, yoga for ballroom dancers, yoga for soccer players,  yoga for seniors, corporate yoga, and prenatal and post-partum yoga. I have had personal clients that have come to me for weight loss, pain management, and life coaching. It's a privilege to teach and share this practice.

Today

Today, I continue to teach from my home studio in Glenwood Iowa.  During this time of quarantine and social distancing - I teach over zoom, and we have found that its a wonderful opportunity to practice at home or work with your own teacher.

Everyone can still ask questions, ask for feedback, and visit with their friends in class.   Once the studio opens again, the studio and patio will be available for classes in person - complete with horse petting of course.
